MANIFESTO

●

 Although I have been driven into a dark corner over some back property taxes, do you teally believe I would allow it?

●

The town and village may have to process such an event but they have to follow Vermont law, since they are paid employees by the taxpayers. Me included.

●

AFFIDAVIT

I can prevent any tax sale according to the law and my time living in Vermont as a resident is long starting from 1 October 1963 continuing still until my death, and now it is 2026, 63 years living at the same address in Old Bennington.

●

This isn't the first time I have been driven into a dard hole by Bennington, but at least the 10th time, so I have experience in   finding a way, to not only escape but to, maka a bad situation into a great one.

●

The law allows time and I haven't been wasting mine.

●

As this mystery drama unfolds only I know the conclusion.  Only I can allow a rax sale, Town abd village will not be humiliated by my actions.

●

Buckthorne Hall is now 125 years old, 

●

Not too old for a house built as it is.  It is also an Historic Vermont Heritage house, and cannot be demolished, built in what is considered the first example of American Architecture.  Most every other

house, white, yellow or prtple in 

Old Bennington 

is 

British Crown Georgian style

 which after the 

American Revolution 

was called 

Federal Style.

As in Federal Government, 

but still British.

 ●

Since 1975 Buckthorne Hall started to show its age and deteriorating, not too seriously at first, but also became fragile as a result of being antique.  I repaired it best I could wiyhout changing anything on the exterior.

I didn 't change the exterior but restored it as it was built and you might not notice, I replaced most of the roof in new Canadian Pendragon Forest red cedar shingles from Vancouver.  

●

All the shutters were repaired and restained their original CABOT Redwood colour .

●

All side walls are original Cypress, not cedar, that last over a thousand years.

Unfortunately there were places where the roof leaked from the day it was built, hidden, impossible to find, 

●

 Gutters were custom built in, rusted and allowed water to drain between outter walls and inside plaster walls.  All three chimneys started disintegrating.  I rebuilt two,

 The kitchen chimney foundation was crumbling and no way to fix it.  I built a wooden scaffolding to look like a tower ro keep the chimney from falling on the roof.  It worked and when it collapsed the scaffolding let it slide down like an elevator shaft, but it brought down the kitchen ceiling just where my brother sat and died and where I sat for breakfast and in winter almost all day on my laptop.

Had I not been in Rangoon, it would have come down on me.

GOD willed I stay in Burma

Well, now what to do?

For the moment, nothing, and now with taxes so high and cost To restore so great I need time to figure out somerhing.

Now first thing first.

 Getting past due taxes paid. 

●

 I am resolved to do that since I have new plans for its future restoration.

●

I always considered finding the right person to pass Buckthorne Hall on to, but couldn't find the right young man in America or Eruope, but finally GOD sent him to me here in Burma.

Yes, I am a fanous internation artist, celebrity and public figure, but that doesn'r mean the public can decide for me.
